Our country is facing a lot of challenges inlcuding high poverty levels, poor infrastructure, lower standards of education, slower technology development etc. Some Zambians are working hard to make a change while others keep destroying the country through corruption and poor management of national resources. Nevertheless, we the youths have the potential to contribute to the development of our nation in various ways. To uncover our potential, one must workhard and have a dream for our country.
In order to raise awaresness among youths on the importance of having the Zambian Dream, the Association of Zambian Students in China is hosting an essay writing contest under the topic "My Zambian Dream". Participants can write about what they wish to do for mother Zambia and how it can be achieved. The essay can be descriptive, narrative or argumentative one depending on the choice of the writer.
Requirements:
1. Essay must be about 500 words long
2. The language used must be clear with correct grammer
3. The points raised must be logical and clear enough for the audience to understand
Prizes:
1. First prize: AZSIC T-shirt
2. Second Prize: AZSIC mug cup
3. Third Prize: AZSIC Notebook
