Questionnaire for EFL learners (2019)
Dear all：
There are twelve situations described in the following pages. All the situations are carefully designed by the researcher. Please read the specific description of each situation and write down the exact words of your response as in real-life contexts in the given space (option A) rather than describing your response (see Example below). If you would not say anything in a given situation, please feel free to explain the reason in option B. Also, please fill out the background information survey that follows. All the information will be kept for research only and your cooperation will be highly appreciated.
Example:
After a female classmate’s presentation you were asked to give her some feedback. You thought that the presentation was not very well organized and sometimes she wandered off the topic.

I think what you said was really interesting but sometimes your points seemed to stray from the topic. So it’d probably be easier to follow it if you limited your arguments to just a few strong points.
Situation 1: After a female classmate’s presentation in class, you are asked to give her some constructive feedback. You think her PPT is carefully made but the content is not very well organized and sometimes she wandered off the topic. If you two are in acquaintance but not intimate, thenA. You would say:

Situation 2: In academic writing class, you and a female student are in one group. The teacher asks students to provide constructive feedback on peer’s work. Situation 4:You and a male students are in one group to prepare for a final report. After discussion, each of you will be responsible for one section of the report and then make a combination. During the discussion, your find that the idea of your friend is special and interesting, but it seems to be unrelated to the teacher’ questions.
