Genome Database for CottonGen User Survey
Established in 2012 from a consolidation of CottonDB and the Cotton Microsatellite Database, CottonGen (https://www.cottongen.org) is the central repository and data- mining resource for genomics, genetics, and breeding data of cotton. Use of CottonGen has been cited in over 600 peer-reviewed publications, with over 2 million pages accessed by 140,966 users from 181 countries. CottonGen has been continuously supported by funds from Cotton Incorporated, USDA ARS, the cotton industry, and USDA NIFA NRSP10.We are asking users to complete a short 5 min survey to indicate the usefulness of CottonGen for their research. The results of this survey are of vital importance to our efforts to develop a sustainability plan to ensure the long-term availability of CottonGen for the cotton research community. We would very much appreciate you taking the time to complete this 5-minute survey as we need sufficient respondents to obtain statistically significant results.Thank you in advance for your invaluable input.
