Do you agree that a deaf person can be a sign language interpreter?
Yes, I know a Deaf can work with Hearing interpreters. By watching a hearing interpreter's signing, a Deaf interpreter can re-interpret into more natural and easily understanding sign language.
I have never heard of there is a Deaf interpreter.
No, Deaf can not hear, so he/she can never be a sign language interpreter.
If, there is sign language interpreting training for Deaf in China, do you want to know more about it and maybe later be a Deaf interpreter yourself?
Yes, I am very interested in this and I am willing to be a Deaf sign language interpreter in the future.
I do not have to be an interpreter but I am very supportive of this idea. I think this shows respect to Deaf and provide an extra working opportunity for Deaf.
Whether there are Deaf interpreters or not doesn't concern me.
No, I don't think Deaf can be sign language interpreters.
