Carter Braconi is a 5-year-old boy. Since he has autism(自闭症),he has trouble 41 with other kids. He was 42 his scooter(滑板车)around the South Brunswick Skate Park in New Jersey last weekend when he was 43 by a group of young skateboarders.
After the kids arrived, Carter became 44 and shy -- but then, he was befriended by a 13-year-old boy named Gavin .
At the beginning, Gavin started 45 with Carter and gave him some tips on how to safely 46 the skate ramps(坡道)without falling. He then started teaching Carter how to use a 47 . Shortly after that, the youngsters were all talking and laughing with Carter 48 they were old friends.
Upon hearing that it was Carter's birthday, the teens 49 and started singing Happy Birthday to You. One of the other kids even gave a mini skateboard to Carter as a birthday gift.
Carter's mother, Kristen Braconi, said that she was so moved by the 50 of the skaters. She 51 several videos to a local Facebook group, praising them for their actions.
"They were absolutely 52 . They included him in their group 53 . It brought me to 54 , "wrote Braconi." They were so kind and showed him how nice people could be to 55 ." "I bought them all ice cream to say thank you, but it wasn't 56 !" she added. After confirming the 60 of the youngsters, the police department gave them honorary coins to praise them, encouraging more people to care for kids with autism.
