The Old Man and the Sea - by Ernest Hemingway

On the eighty-fifth day, he finally caught a big fish. After two days and two nights of fighting with the fish, although he had no water, no food, no weapons, no assistants, and cramps in his left hand, he did not lose heart and did not give up. This quality is worth learning from. The novel won the Pulitzer Prize in 1953 and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954.
