Les Misérables - by Victor Hugo

A local old man named Jean-Martieux was being tried as Jean Valjean, and Jean Valjean was caught in a conflict: if he confessed his identity, he would be arrested and could not continue to take care of Fantine and his daughter; If you don't admit it, an innocent person will be burdened by himself and be arrested and jailed. Conscience finally prevailed, and he resolutely went to court to reveal his true identity. Jean Valjean was therefore wanted again. He came to Fantine's house, Javert brought someone to arrest him, and Fantine was stimulated to die. Jean Valjean was once again thrown into prison. Maybe his quality was bad or bad before, but now he has begun to improve and change. The theme of Les Misérables is to write about the unremitting struggle between human beings and evil. Human nature is pure and kind, and will go to happiness together, but through the course of suffering.
