Arno Dorian is a person who really alive, his emotion, his impulsion, and his progress in the story, and let us know the assassin’s story and the important of keep your creed in the mind. The book also recounts the brutality of many of the Revolution’s chief events, such as the storming of the Bastille and the execution of Louis XVI, with startling realism. As the story is told through journal format, we see much of this through Arno Dorian’s eyes and it makes for grisly reading.
