                         My First Christmas Party in America

         Last week, I got an invitation from one of my professors to a Christmas Eve dinner at his house. It was the first time I attended a Christmas party in America.

         I got up very early on Christmas Eve, and started worrying about the food I should bring to the dinner. I was not good at cooking American food. Then I decided to make Chinese pork rib soup. While I was waiting for the soup to be ready, I had a gift wrapped. When everything was ready I left for the professor’s house. When I arrived, many students and teachers of our school were already there.

 I haven’t spent Christmas in America before.

I attended a Christmas party held by my school this year.

I prepared a dish and a gift for the party.

As most of the guests were Americans I prepared American

          food for the party.

The host kept all the gifts people brought to the party.

People didn’t leave till the early morning of Christmas.
