Everyone should have the freedom to pursue what they want, whether it is love or freedom, it all depends on whether you are willing to make some sacrifices to achieve this goal. This book strongly attacked the reactionary aristocracy during the Restoration Dynasty, the darkness of the church, and the despicable vulgarity of the new bourgeois aristocracy, lusting for profit, this book is actually more of a "political" novel.
