B. Rewrite the following direct speech (statement/ imperative) into reported speech.
5. I said to Joe, “Don’t be late.”
6. Jenny said, “I went to the park yesterday.”
7. Brian said, “I am preparing for my oral exam this Friday.”
8. The teacher assigned us, “Hand in your homework tomorrow.”
